Can I teach myself to learn the nunchucks?

Im 15, I’m a blue belt and I do YOKU DO Karate. We dont use weapons but I’d really like to learn how. What I’d like to learn is the nunchucks. Can anyone give me any advice on how I can learn or teach myself? Is there a DVD I can buy or something?
