Kobudo weapons sparring?

I am wondering if anyone here has a sparring program for weapons in their school.
Kobudo are the Okinawan Karate weapons (staff, sai, tonfa, nunchaku, etc) and we teach forms, and onesteps in our school, but no actual sparring.

does Kyokushin Karate teach self-defense techniques?

like taking a knife, ETC or is it mainly for competition.
and is it a good ideal to cross train
with Isshinryu Karate
that depends on the instructor, not the style.

is this true about black belts in karate?

That you cant fight somebody or you’ll get charged? Or something like that.
Don’t you have to tell the person that wants to fight you that your hands are weapons? Of course you would defend your self if somebody was attacking you.

What is the difference between these techniques?

1) Muay Thai roundhouse kick, Karate roundhouse kick, taekwondo roundhouse kick
2) Taekwondo sidekick, Karate sidekick, Kungfu sidekick
Can you plz tell me how they differ from each other?
1) the mechanics are completely 100% different. I muay thai the kick is not chambered, and your kick using the shin only.
